I most recently served as vice president and chief medical officer of McKesson Connected Care & Analytics where I focused on strategy and thought leadership. I was the founder and chief medical officer for MedVentive, an innovative healthcare technology company focused on solutions for population health and value-based care. MedVentive was acquired by McKesson in 2012. Before MedVentive, I was president of the Provider Service Network (part of CareGroup) - and prior to that, served as president of the Beth Israel Deaconess Physicians Organization in Boston, and Medical Director of the Affiliated Physicians Group of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). I was the vice-chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BIDMC and an associate professor at Harvard Medical School. My core areas of expertise include accountable care, population health, improving the quality of healthcare, improving clinician workflow, helping organizations become clinically integrated and improving care for at-risk populations and networks. I have served on the boards of medical device and diagnostics public companies.
