Jon takes a ground-up approach to a business and within his advisory services. A team cannot run effectively or efficiently if it does not have the proper building blocks in place. While his focus has been mainly on analyzing and preparing financial statements, he has significant exposure to the operations and back-office support structure throughout his career. Jon has over 15 years of accounting experience and over 10 years in upper management. His industry knowledge encompasses industrial processing systems, conveying systems and storage systems. Jon has had experience in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, alternative energy, software as a service, wholesale/retail parts and audit and attestation work. He has served as the Corporate Representative for his company on numerous legal disputes. Jon holds a CPA license from the state of Missouri (currently not active), a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a BS – Accounting from the University of San Diego. Jon resides in Kansas City with his wife, Haley and their two children. He is an avid soccer coach (even though he stopped playing soccer in 2nd Grade), enjoys golf, traveling with his family, being active and, most of all, spreadsheets.
