Although I have been a photographer all my life, professionally I have been a portrait photographer for a television casting agency in Johannesburg, done my fair share of wedding photography, done product and industrial commissions and been commissioned to do some aerial photography. I have even done pet photography. More recently I have been commissioned to take photographs for the cover of the KwaDukuza Visitor’s Guide 2020/2021 (see Facebook link above) as well as supply content and cover images for the Brabys Travel and Sport Guide for 2019, 2020 and 2020. My most recent commissions were to take photographs of the University of Zululand campus for their annual financial report (2022) and to shoot product images for a new small e-commerce business.I specialise in various facets of stock photography and sell my photographs on Alamy, Shutterstock and Adobe Stock. My best seller across all three websites is an image I took of African beads (it is the cover image on my Facebook page).Most of the images referred to above can be seen on my Facebook page Zebraspots Photography (link above).Career-wise I worked as a design sub editor for Independent Newspapers for more than 20 years, working in the Commercial Editorial and Sponsorship departments before moving to The Independent On Saturday. I was a freelancer for many years before joining the then brand-new Zulu title Isolezwe, where I spent the next 10 plus years. The editorial design work has given me a lot of experience not only in presentation and composition, but also in the standards required for various platforms. I shoot with A Nikon D750 and have 16-35mm, 50mm, 105mm and 200-500mm lenses in the bag. I am very proficient in InDesign, Lightroom and Photoshop. I recently completed the Google certificate in UX design
