16 years experience in precision coating processes and patterning of webs (roll-to-roll / R2R), piece-parts, and sheet processes. My current work is R&D of highly engineered abrasive systems (coated, nonwoven, bonded), especially the synthetic shaped ceramic minerals in our top tier product lines, and often using exploratory data analytics in high order experimental systems not amenable to traditional design of experiments. This work is focused on applied research of process technologies in the areas of fluid preparation, rheology, fluid delivery, thin film coating, printing, patterning, drying processes, and particle characterization. My prior experience has included work in display coatings, abrasives, medical adhesives, transdermal drug delivery adhesives, wound dressings, consumer and industrial adhesives, release liners, optically clear adhesives, and precision patterning for touch screens.
