About Jonathan Oon
I'm a sustainability professional, surfer and lover of the outdoors, dedicating the rest of my life and career to transforming industries, companies and value-chains into forces of good, which protect and regenerate natural environments. In my work, I seek to drive tangible innovation towards sustainability in the strategies, products, operations and supply chains of businesses through analysis, design, partnership and technology. My passions: I connect with nature and live my values through surfing and doing my best to live, cook, eat and travel with minimal harm, and I love working with organisations who share this love of nature and desire to regenerate the planet. My skills: I bring to sustainability programmes deep experience and understanding of how businesses work from 7+ years of top-tier management consulting, shaping long-term strategies and driving organisational-wide transformation initiatives. My previous experience allows me to approach sustainability challenges with a whole-of-organisation mindset and bring not only sustainability knowledge, but also expertise in strategic planning, innovation and supply-chain excellence. I complement this with deep knowledge of sustainability issues through a Masters in Management for Sustainability, GRI and B-Corp accreditation - and I'm always learning more. My strengths: I'm known for "getting it done" and building bridges - between organisations, between different skillsets, between data and insights and between bold sustainability strategies and pragmatic business needs. Please reach out if I can support your work and efforts towards a more ecologically sustainable society and economy!
