In that role, he worked to develop coherent positions on substantive law and to further progress in international harmonization. He works in this same field wearing other hats: - as a former member of the AIPLA board of directors, member of the AIPLA Harmonization committee, Chair of the AIPLA AI task force, and co-vice chair of IPO's AI and Emerging Technologies Committee.HELPING CHILDREN BRIDGE THE DIGITAL DIVIDEToday's children need technology. They need to touch it, use it, and experience it if they are to take their fair place in today's society and tomorrow's workforce. One hour one day a week in a school computer lab does not cut it. About 50% of children living below the poverty line don't have regular access to a computer. Jonathan founded Comp-U-Dopt (a 501(c)(3) not for profit entity) in 2008 to start making a difference by providing free computers and free after-school technical education to children in underserved communities. 12 years later, Comp-U-Dopt has donated more than 60,000 free computers and provided more than 260,000 hours of free after-school classes to children in underserved communities and communities affected by disasters such as Hurricane Harvey.
