My primary responsibility in Columbus State Community College ESL Department is to direct a wide range of day-to-day tasks, such as supporting an array of learners with English language learning in my Advanced Grammar and Writing class. This includes planning and delivering effective language lessons, assessing and evaluating student progress, and providing feedback and guidance. In this job, I am responsible for adapting teaching strategies for diverse learners including creating a positive classroom environment, utilizing technology for instruction, and promoting cultural sensitivity in language learning.Following are some of my achievements at Columbus State Community College ESL Department: Created and implemented engaging lesson plans and activities to fulfill the diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds of ESL students. Provided individualized support and feedback to ESL students through regular assessments, progress monitoring, and one-on-one conferences. Proposed condensed time format for academic language and writing class by cutting several weekly classes in half, receiving unwavering student support, and enjoying a 95% attendance rate for the semester.

During my job here I was in charge of managing the overall activities associated with the English language in STEM Middle including designing and implementing language curriculum, providing language instruction to non-native English speakers, and assessing and monitoring student progress.I who assembled curriculum matching for identifying the needs of English learners in classes by collaborating with educators and a wide range of disciplines.Here are some of my proudest achievements: Recruited and implemented STEM-focused instruction into the composition of lesson plans for English Language Learners in grades 5 – 8. Introduced English learners of varying English proficiency to hydroponics. Guided students in the fostering of plant growth through planting, germination, and plant maturation. Integrated newcomers into the district with less than one year of education in the USA by developing and implementing the EL program. Enhanced school's efficiency by facilitating multidisciplinary lessons and training colleagues with Sheltered Instructional Observation Protocol (SIOP) method, incorporating academic vocabulary into transdisciplinary lessons, and constructing English Learning Plans for English learners.

At Washington Court House City School District my responsibility was to direct a diverse range of English language learning activities including, developing, and implementing a district-wide language curriculum, and providing language instruction to non-native English speakers across multiple schools.During my time over here, I leveraged technology for instruction while maintaining a keen eye for assessing and monitoring student progress and coordinating with school staff and administrators to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners.It is worth mentioning that I developed and implemented lessons for the Ohio State Tests and the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment to improve student performance.Underneath listed are my key achievements: Created a supportive classroom environment and promoted cultural understanding and sensitivity in language learning by delivering training sessions district-wide. Assisted educators with ELL-related questions while designing alternative assessments by consulting with core-curriculum instructors of all grade levels. Established the first ELL Program in the WCHCS district by collaborating with District Director while choosing a syllabus for ELL students aligned with all state standards in ELL. Delivered training sessions to K-12 age learners in four linguistic domains focusing on Total Physical Response Storytelling Method and highlighting interactive lessons in all.
