Ch-47F Standards Instructor
CurrentPerforms duties aboard the CH-47F that are essential to the operation of the aircraft. Performs academic and flight Non-Rated Crewmember (NCM) instruction, evaluation, support and documentation of qualification training IAW the current CH47F Flight Training Guide (FTG) for all Non-Rated Crewmember activities involving the fielding of the new CH-47F Chinook helicopter worldwide. Serves as a training and Flight Engineer specialist in conducting job and task analysis for the CH-47F Project Office and serving as a member of the Integrated Product Team. Performs instruction and support of training as part of a team required to travel to unit locations and train US Army and contractor personnel in applied CH-47F Modification Work Orders (MWO) and government flight missions. Performs CAAS Software Loading Training to fielded CH-47F aviation units and responsible for the updates and loading of CAAS Software. Brief and debrief students concerning performance requirements, actual performance, and make final decision as to students successful accomplishment of course objectives. Recommend Readiness Level (RL) status to the Units Commander and SI upon completion of CH47F Crew Chief and Flight Engineer qualification/transition training. Performs duties as an academic instructor. Responsible for performing as a crewmember during the ferrying of helicopters from assigned locations to the assigned destination.Fulfills all tasks under ISO 9001:2008/AS9100C guidance for Product Realization, Management,Analysis, and Improvement.
