About Jonathan Pietrobon

I'm a recent graduate in the field of electrical engineering with a great interest and proficiency in technology. I completed my undergraduate degree with honours from the University of Western Ontario with a specialization in wireless communications. I have recently completed the degree requirements for my M.E.Sc. which focused on the development and analysis of signal processing algorithms, specifically, those used in audio applications such as digital hearing aids. I'm always interested in learning new skills and working on new and interesting things. My work at UWO has allowed me to see multiple projects from start to finish as well as provide support and consultation for colleagues. I have a strong understanding of programming (with a variety of languages including: C, C++, C#, VB, VBA, MATLAB, and assembly) and have spent two terms as a Teaching Assistant for the first-year computer science course for engineers at Western. In my second term, I was co-head TA for a group of 18 teaching assistants.I am also a hobbyist web designer and developer. During my undergraduate career, I built several sites for student groups including the local Women in Engineering chapter, the Western Engineering Competition, and the Western IEEE student branch. If you're interested in working or learning more about me, feel free to send me an email at jonathan.pietrobon (at) gmail (dot) comSpecialties: Signal processing, audio, communications, troubleshooting, programming,

I organized the team of TA's among all lab sections, ensuring that each section had an equal TA to student ratio while accounting for scheduling conflicts. As well, I designed and wrote the lab manuals for the course as well as provided support to the other teaching assistants in terms of understanding course material and grading procedures in addition to regular TA duties such as lab supervision.
