• Provides Space Launch Delta 45 Reserve Component leadership, management, and mentoring for 60+ Patrick SFB and Cape Canaveral SFS Individual Mobilization Augmentees assigned to the Space Launch Delta 45 and Air Force Technical Applications Center.• Serves as a Launch Decision Authority with final approval for launch activities on the Eastern Range, a 15-million-square-mile area which supports an average of 35 launches per year aboard Delta, Atlas, Falcon, Navy and emerging launch vehicles.• Supports the Space Launch Delta Commander in providing leadership, services, security, and support to 30 major tenant/associate organizations, and over 15,000 military, DOD civilian and contractor personnel assigned to operating locations in Florida, Ascension Island, and Airmen deployed worldwide in support of contingency operations overseas.• Provides broad technical space launch/range operations and policy expertise to the entire Space Launch Delta 45, NASA and commercial operators on the Eastern Range; entrusted by the commander to lead efforts to document and streamline procedures and authorities throughout the wing.• Reinvigorating the Space Launch Delta 45’s Reserve integration efforts; implemented increased communication and accountability standards, mentoring and ensuring appropriate utilization of Reservist skillsets across the installation.
