Responsibilities at General Motors Financial: Network Transition Project Management – June 2016 15 to January 19End to end management of the Global Wide Area Network [WAN] tender process from inception to stakeholder recommendation and contract signature. Responsible for all network transformation activities 44 locations across Europe and the Americas, co-ordinating a global team of Network Engineers, Service Delivery Managers, Partners & Third-Party Vendors to design & deliver a complete redesign of the global wide area network.Led the network refresh programme to procure, replace, expand and improve Cisco core & access switches, routing, End Point firewalls & Riverbed accelerator technology across all locations in Europe and North & South America. Implemented insourcing of LAN/WAN management into the newly expanded operations team, developing internal processes, co-ordinating client & vendor activities to ensure a smooth handover of responsibility with zero business impact.Full budget responsibility and accountability across procurement of hardware, software, new circuit billing and ramp-down cancellation of the legacy services.Office consolidation delivery, ensuring network services, hardware & licensing were in place prior to the planned move date. Responsibilities at Publicis Groupe: IT Project Management - April 15 to November 15As part of the group integration strategy, following numerous acquisitions, completed the delivery of the domain migration of 158 virtual & physical windows & Mac servers to one single windows AD, whilst also upgrading the OS to Windows Server 2012. This project was brought in two weeks ahead of schedule, to budget and to exceptional quality.Led the design & implementation of Strawberry© asset management technology for post-production video editing utilising EMC2 Isilon© storage to provide creatives with real-time access to 100TB through direct connections across 10GB fibre. The success of this project led to implementing a similar, yet bespoke, solution at another advertising agency within the group.Legacy Wifi migration to corporate standard authentication. As part of the larger integration into Group strategy, managed the design, procurement, configuration, Lab/onsite UAT and deployment of Cisco WAPs throughout the 5 floor Central London offices.Fit-out of new office space for Tesco Bank, including all new WAN & LAN, AV/VC, Mac hardware, network printing & office furniture. Riverbed WAN optimisation across UK, Ireland & Germany: In an introduction of Riverbed technology to Europe, management of the pilot deployment at Data Centres & Branches to safeguard customer data across the network.Data Centre server upgrade: Delivery of Microsoft server 2003 upgrade to 2012 and introduction of Server Virtualisation; reducing cost as well as support, device, space & power requirements whilst also increasing application redundancy.Implementation of Verifone VX820 PIN Pad Card Payment Devices throughout all branch operations within Germany, managing the configuration of devices to comply with country banking regulation, in branch network upgrade/readiness, deployment & installation.

I performed the project management function for the Global WAN (Wide Area Network) transition project.
