An analytical and diligent approach to problem solving and project management has enabled successful outcomes on transactions ranging from £1m asset only deals, to the £330m takeover of PLC listed BPI Group and three class 1 transactions, including the €650m rights issue financed acquisition of European peer Global Closure Systems. A broad and well-developed skill set across relevant technical and organisational disciplines that facilitates effective, efficient and value-added interactions between external advisers and his internal colleagues. As part of a highly active in-house corporate development team, Group revenues increased four-fold and market capitalisation grew from £600m to £3.3bn. As well as leading individual transactions, responsibilities also included executing non-core disposals in challenging economic and commercial situations.High-profile assignments include lead project management responsibility on the target side in the $6.5bn takeover of RPC Group Plc, including responsibility for co-ordinating across divisional, reporting and tax/treasury teams during intensive diligence processes conducted by Bain Capital, Apollo Global Management and US listed peer Berry Global.
