Director Of Clinical Strategy And Innovation - Department Of Surgery
CurrentIn this role I am responsible for the development of collaborative business enterprises involving the CU School of Medicine - Department of Surgery and UCHealth. This position is responsible for developing administrative, business and clinical vision, mission, and strategic objectives/goals for the University of Colorado’s DOS programs in concert with the Chair of Surgery and the University of Colorado Hospital CEO/COO. Key responsibilities include: identifying strategic/operational opportunities to strengthen market position; developing business plans, including risk assessments and cost/benefit analysis; assisting operational leaders to model new program implementation tactics and evaluate performance and resource management; and serving as a project manager for all new University of Colorado DOS clinical program initiatives.This Director seeks to achieve integration between UCHealth, the University of Colorado DOS and CU Medicine, by working collaboratively with the Chair of Surgery, the DOS Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs & Quality, the DOS Vice Chair of Administration, Medical Directors, hospital Vice Presidents and CU Medicine.
