Chief of Operations for the Joint Improvised Threat Defeat Organization (formerly JIEDDO and JIDA). Coordinates and synchronizes current and future operations and the training and readiness to rapidly provide Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) capabilities in support of the Combatant Commanders. Processes and analyzes information to maintain a global, C-IED Common Operating Picture and develops output into situational awareness throughout the organization. Develops briefings, products, and prepares senior JIDO leadership to brief, Senior Leaders to include three to four-star Generals, Admirals, and Senior DoD and Interagency Executives including the Secretary of Defense, the Senior Initiative Group, or Service Chiefs.
