Jonathan is living the expat dream in Japan! He is a Language Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET), teaching at a high school in the heart of Yamanashi Prefecture (the home of Mount Fuji). His students are an absolute wonder to teach!Before JET, Jonathan's worked with the greater Seattle community as a Vaccine Coordinator with the Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC). As part of the COVID Team, he ensured the COVID-19 vaccine rollout reached DESC's clients, whether they were housed in DESC's low-income housing or were living in encampments.Jonathan also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador from January 2019 to March 2020. Initially swearing in for a two-year commitment, he completed his service circumstantially when the agency ceased operations worldwide due to COVID-19.He is a graduate of the Dual Degree Program at Boston University.
