Working as a self-employed Revit Architectural Draftsperson for numerous Architects and building designers on residential projects. Producing DA & CDC Drawing sets for submission as well as Construction Certificate and Construction build drawings.

Primary tasks for this role included modelling site and building elements in Revit and Civil3D to registered survey standards for handing over to the client. 3D models are produced using Revit 2020 to 2024 upon the client's request. Daily tasks included checking colleagues 3D modelling to ensure suitable standards were upheld.Secondary tasks included assisting with on-site surveys, Leica laser scanning and Cloud registration using Cyclone.

Working for award winning architects based in Sydney, my role involves initial investigations into relevant SEPP, DCP and LEP controls related to a property, along with interpreting the designs of lead architects and producing documentation to be presented to clients. Once approved, I am responsible for the production of design layouts and documentation to be approved by the relevant authority. My duties also include the production of detailed specification drawings for the installation phase through to project completion. Designer and lead engineer of global multi-million dollar Monorail systems. Tasks include conducting site surveys and working with customers to understand requirements, designing bespoke systems, completion of all manufacturing drawings (Tekla Structures, Solidworks and Autocad), bills of materials and supporting the installation team on site. Separate duties include involvement in the organisations’ “Quality circle” focused on improving efficiency within the company.Working as an individual or part of a team, my role begins at the point of sale with total involvement through until project completion. Site surveys are conducted using state-of-the-art laser measuring equipment and 3D scanning software; a working monorail layout is produced in Solidworks and Autocad from the survey results and liaison on site with the customer. Once the layout is agreed, support steelwork is designed using Tekla Structures and all manufacturing drawings and bills of materials for production. The role requires involvement during the installation phase to ensure a successful completion of the project.

The role involved initially working with the sales team to conduct accurate conveyor layouts to best suit the customers requirements. During the project stage i was required to conduct site surveys and complete all detailed drawings and bills of materials for manufacture.

The role consisted of interpreting site surveys and completing an accurate 3D model that best suits the individual staircase and customer's needs. All drawings completed using AutoCAD 3D and bills of materials calculated using Microsoft Office.
