Jonathan Rodbell co-founded Atlanta Property Group (APG) in 2003. APG is a real estate investment firm that focuses on owning industrial and office properties in the southeast. Since inception, APG has executed over $2 billion of principal transactions. The firm currently owns 14 assets totaling over 2.5 million square feet. Jonathan focuses on strategic initiatives including capital relationships and lowering the carbon footprint of the firm’s portfolio.Prior to forming APG, Jonathan served four years as Vice President of Apex Supply Company, a distributor of building materials, which was founded by the Rodbell family in 1949 and acquired by The Home Depot in 2000. Jonathan began his career in the acquisition departments of JMB Realty and Lazard Frères Real Estate Investors in Chicago and New York, respectively.Jonathan earned a B.S. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of The Westminster Schools, where he remains involved as an active parent. He is chairman-elect of the Buckhead Coalition and currently chairs its Public Policy and Government Relations Committee, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Westminster Schools, a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, and a member of an Urban Land Institute (ULI) product council.He has served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and Camp Sunshine. And has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) New Leadership Network. Jonathan is a native of Atlanta and currently lives in Buckhead with his wife, Heather. They have one college-age and one high school-age child.
