Working with both companies, I gained experience that helped me not only grow professionally, such as learning to deal with multiple scenarios effectively and amicably, but also personally in the sense that I learned what my strengths and weaknesses are and ways to use aspects of one to balance aspects of the other.I am passionate strategist. Manage messaging system to ensure proper information was received by correct party.

• Worked closely with Division and Facility level management and staff to make improvements to processes and practices in order to cut cost, improve productivity and create an overall improved system of healthcare to promote healthiness and good moral for patients and employees alike while striving to stay within budget constraints.o Improved Premium Pay Utilization: Part of a team tasked with reducing Premium Pay (Over Time + Contract Labor). This was accomplished in three ways:• Position Control: Met with department directors and began balancing current staffing matrix against HR and budget. This was done by cutting excessive staff in departments over staffing budget and filling gaps in staffing with requisitions and available existing staff in departments under staffing budget.• Over Time Control: Made expectations clear to directors and staff that OT was only to be allowed if patient safety and security was at risk or if understaffed and had to prioritize patient welfare.• Contract Labor Reduction: Accomplished by balancing staff to budget and working with director to properly utilize available resources. Made clear that certain criteria had to be met before Contract Labor would be authorized.• Daily Productivity Audit: Was responsible for auditing and tracking productivity across entire facility. Would work with staff to ensure proper time keeping had been done and if so, where target was missed and strive to make sure situation is avoided in the future.
Preload Operations Supervisor
• Have been involved in all parts of the operation. Worked in Unload / Primary where main responsibilities are to effectively coordinate staff of 40 - 60 employees to ensure all parameters are met in the safest and most cost effective way possible. o These parameters consist of:• Safety: All employees are provided ongoing, quality safety and injury prevention training and follow-up to ensure that employees are working as safe as possible.• Performance Training: As with safety, employees trained to work in a way that will yield maximum efficiency so performance markers are met (pieces/hour). • Percent Effective: Must adjust staffing and performance accordingly to deal with changing dynamic of volume fluctuation. Must ensure employees are being used effectively as to cut company costs. Examples of this are time lost due to employees not being effectively utilized, thus creating idle time, which affects cost by paying for time not worked and pushing back time frame for drivers to leave. This may affect on-time delivery which, in turn, affects current and potential business.

This was done by many means including:• Package Volume Forecasting: One of the main responsibilities. This was accomplished using multiple techniques such as trends and averages from past years data or using real time news and current events relating to transportation or delays to adjust incoming volume accordingly. Through forecasting, the internal operation and driver staffing can be completed.• Process Analysis: To ensure operation is running at peak performance with daily, weekly, monthly, annual audits that are done with respect to all possible outlets of loss. Audits of driver performance to ensure standards are being met and time isn’t lost, internal operations to see if staffing and performance markers are at highest level of effectiveness. Even planning of routes to ensure most effective way to deliver package will maximize cost savings, while still keeping customer satisfaction high.o Cost Effective Measures / Projects: • Internally, main cost effective measure dealt with is employee’s utilization. Audits and work measurements are done to provide standard to which operation must adhere to so that performance and cost savings are kept at highest possible levels. • Externally, main cost effective measure dealt with is driver performance. Must conduct audits of route / driver performance and plans to see where changes can be made to cut cost and improve performance.
