Jonathan Romero Dominguez is an optimistic junior attending the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He has developed ambitions to pursue a career in finance or to use the skills acquired through the program to establish his own company. Through this, he aims to satisfy his interests not only in financial success but also in strengthening and supporting the community, which he believes businesses can play a strong and influential role. Jonathan has a hardworking attitude and intuitive nature; he quickly becomes a reliable member wherever he goes, earning the trust and reliance of those around him. To follow his interests, pursuing a degree in Finance (B.S.) with W.P. Carey was a great start.Jonathan’s interest in finance was introduced at an early age. Of the topics of finance, Jonathan took a particular likening to financial management. With his logical, analytical, and intuitive thinking, the concepts of planning and managing financial resources came naturally to him. He was fascinated by the intricate dance of balancing budgets, forecasting future trends, and strategizing for financial growth. Jonathan finds deep satisfaction in learning about complex financial puzzles and how to develop strategies that could drive success and stability.Jonathan believes strongly in supporting the community. He believes that when members of the community become more informed about finance, especially personal finance, they can build strong foundations for success. Jonathan believes that businesses and firms can demonstrate their support by offering informational events on financial concepts, as well as through traditional means such as sponsorship of local extracurriculars and donations for local causes. Through this more foundations can be laid for the community to strengthen. These foundations help to uplift the increasingly harsh socioeconomic conditions that so many people face today. To give his support, he regularly volunteers at a local food bank serving local families in his community.During his time away from University, Jonathan enjoys listening to live music and experiencing the great outdoors.
