Responsible for the legal contracting activity of Stoke Therapeutics, a public biotech company listed on the NASDAQ, whose initial public offering was the largest biotech IPO in Massachusetts for 2019. Extensive transactional experience, including clinical trial agreements, sponsored research agreements, master services agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, material transfer agreements, licensing agreements, GMP and quality agreements, and other biotech agreements.Implemented and maintain a contract management system for Stoke, and serve as contracting subject matter expert for Stoke. Developed contracting templates, contract playbooks, and contracting processes and procedures. Assisted in development and implementation of various compliance policies, including Code of Conduct, HCP engagement and FMV determination policies. Counsel on other regulatory compliance matters, including 10b5-1 plans. Stoke is pioneering a new way to treat the underlying cause of severe genetic diseases by precisely upregulating protein expression. We develop antisense oligonucleotide medicines that increase gene expression to treat genetic epilepsies and other severe monogenic diseases, including genetic conditions affecting the central nervous system, eye, liver and kidney. We believe our proprietary technology platform, Targeted Augmentation of Nuclear Gene Output, or TANGO, will allow us to deliver disease-modifying therapies in a highly precise, durable and controlled manner.
