My interpersonal skills were further developed through running a landscaping business, where I focused on acquiring and nurturing client relationships. In my role as a manager at Amazon, I had the responsibility of overseeing nearly 1,000 employees, which sharpened my leadership and managerial skills. This position required a high level of self-sufficiency as I tackled tasks independently, while also fostering adaptability in an ever-changing environment. Communication became paramount; I learned that clear and effective dialogue was essential not only for the success of our building but also for the broader goals of Amazon.   I worked over the summer as an L4 intern working with operations in Amazon. I provided oversight over hundreds of associates at a time promoting quality, safety, and people in the workplace. Additionally I made sure numbers are where they should be while ensuring teams attain their goals! This opportunity allowed me to learn how to manage and operate in a professional leadership position whilst also teaching invaluable skills such as seeking to understand, assuming positive intent, and helping manage and flow a 200 million dollar building full of a few thousand employees.
