Founder, Creative & Development DirectorMagus Films Jul 2018 - PresentBerkhamstedI founded Magus Films in the summer of 2018 after spending 20 years working in U.K. film and series distribution, in senior commercial roles including marketing, sales, business development and creative functions.Through Magus Films, I manage myriad development projects whilst offering creative solutions to filmmakers, content owners, sales agents, distributors and brands, via a network of associates whom I've worked with over the last 20 years in filmed entertainment content marketing and distribution. Magus can also offer pre-production and co-production services, including advice and consultancy to filmmakers.I am also currently developing a slate of projects for film and TV with a variety of co-producing partners, including Worldmark Films. My feature film as first-time producer, 'Chalet', is based on a darkly comedic play written about the late great British / Hollywood actor, David Niven in the mid-80s by his close friends Roderick Mann. I am producing Chalet with Sol Papadopoulos and the play was adapted into a screenplay by Daniel Graham, who is set to direct. Cast to be announced soon but the film features an International household name lead and a stellar international supporting cast. -
ProducerChalet Fillm Limited Sep 2024 - PresentChalet is a feature film in late development stages based on a mid 80s comedy play by the late Roderick Mann, written about his close friend the late British-Hollywood actor David Niven. After closely observing David’s second marriage, Roderick was inspired to write Chalet and was also influenced by twisty plays/films such as Sleuth and Deathtrap. Chalet is established with an international sales agent and a European co-producing partner and has its key roles all lined up with well known cast names - and the lead actor a veritable household name, globally. Chalet was adapted for the screen by Daniel Graham (Prizefighter) who is lined up to direct. I am producing with Sol Papadopoulos, with Anastasia Mann as Executive Producer. Cast to be announced upon final funding. -
