Full stack software engineer writing front end code (Angular 2+) and back end code (C#/SQL) for a web based business intelligence application (Leading Wisely) that enables non-technical users to create customized dashboards from multiple data sources and visualize the data for opportunity analysis. Added features such as custom filtering, measure configuration, chart visualizations (D3) and diagnostic reporting. The business intelligence application stack included SQL Server, Entity Framework + DACPAC database management, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Angular 2+, Typescript, CSS, HTML and D3.js. Version control included GIT and Azure DevOps for deployment pipelines and project management. Spent eight months focused on electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) which involved re-writing ,enhancing and converting a Python based program to C# to extract data from QRDAI/CDA documents. I also worked on another .net based console application and web application for ingesting and processing the QRDA1 files to generate and display QRDAIII files. I then used the applications to certify 4 new measures under the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reporting requirement for the 2019 eCQMs.

Created complex logical models to support a variety of hospital intelligence applications in the Operations and Performance Management domain across various clients including Labor Management and Patient Satisfaction utilizing internal ETL software and T-SQL for logical models as well as QlikView and Tableau for front end visualization applications. Developed and custom data models and applications at a client hospital including Pediatric Heart Surgery Anesthesia and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) using client tools as well as QlikView for visualizations.

Designed and developed a new data warehouse based upon evolving business requirements utilizing SQL Server 2012 technology stack with a front end based upon Tableau 9. The warehouse integrates data from several different internal systems as well as data from external sources incorporated through third party packages. Also supported and maintained production applications including Marketing Pilot and custom campaign management tool developed in PHP. Responsible for maintenance of dozens of production and data warehouse databases across several different servers. Duties include installation, configuration, migration, backup and recovery as well as database security administration for the entire organization.

Performed all aspects of report development, employing various technologies such as T-SQL and SSRS to develop custom reports and ad-hoc queries for analysis as well as maintenance and modifications to dozens of other existing reports. Maintained and developed several SSIS packages to integrate data from external sources and developed a custom C# application to access a third party API to query email campaign data. Took initiative to design and develop a custom ASP.NET web forms application used to document the existing data warehouse. The application utilizes a complex C# regular expression to extract T-SQL syntax from various data sources such as reporting services reports, integration services packages, analysis services and SQL Server to determine where the objects are used and how often. The application was instrumental in helping clean up the warehouse by eliminating hundreds of unused tables and reports.

Performed all aspects of audits and reviews for a variety of companies including automobile dealerships, financial institutions, investment companies, manufacturers, retailers, distributors and non-profit organizations.

Volunteered as a founding board member to help establish the non-profit organization by applying for and obtaining 501C (3) status. Configured and administered all accounting records using QuickBooks. Designed and launched the organizations website that is in production today.
