Fjelltopp is a social enterprise working with the United Nations to build technology for public health and international development. I help manage the day-to-day affairs of the business, with my role focusing on marketing, finance, recruitment, legal compliance, administration and strategy. As we are a small company, I continue to provide technical consulting services for the business, with specialisms in data visualisation, user experience, architectural design, client-facing project management. The role of resident tutor is one that can be broadly summarised as nurturing community life at St John's college. This is done through a variety of ways. As part of the 'resident' tutor team, I have shifts as the college staff member 'on call' during the night (11pm til 8am), during which I am responsible for discipline and emergency management. As part of this role I am a trained first aider, mental health first aider, and fire officer. As a 'tutor' I am responsible for supporting a designated group of undergraduate students pastorally as they develop at university, focusing particularly on development opportunities beyond their degree. This happens through regular meetings, emails and social events. At the end of their time at university I can then offer a formal character reference for further job applications.

I was contracted alongside a small team of other consultants to build an open source public health surveillance system for the nation of Jordan. The system was case-based, electronic, mobile, real-time, and rapidly deploy-able, with configurable early-warning SMS and email alerts raised for priority diseases. The micro-services architecture incorporated Open Data Kit, AWS cloud services and multiple python flask applications. The 'Meerkat Health Surveillance' system was then also implemented in Jordan, Madagascar, Somalia and Central African Republic. Gained significant experience in planning and executing international business travel.

I oversaw one of the organisation's most significant changes in management and governance, initiated in response to changes in UK Charity Regulation.
