ADMISI (a subsidiary of the Archer Daniels Midland company) is a full-service multi-asset brokerage firm.• Responsible for all technology in London, with a close relationship with the international offices.• Member of the Executive Committee, alongside the three directors and the Head of Operations.• Managed all IT functions including development, infrastructure, technology operations and support.• Designed the overall technology architecture, blending in-house and outsourced elements, including transitioning key systems to the application service provider (ASP) and software as a service (SaaS) models, with significant vendor management responsibilities.• Implemented an ITIL-based helpdesk system and managed the transition to a service delivery model, which included restructuring the team around a new service delivery management role.• Built the development team from scratch, initially implementing management information reporting systems and customer information systems, and expanding to cover systems for regulatory reporting, compliance, risk and accounting. Led the adoption of a Scrum-based agile process for the development team, including the introduction of Atlassian JIRA for planning.• Spearheaded the implementation of compliance and regulatory systems, including transaction monitoring, account opening and ‘know your customer’ (KYC), and reporting for MiFID and EMIR.• Implemented trading systems including Fidessa (ETP), Trading Technologies (TTNET), CQG, and FlexTrade. Managed the implementation of the first live multi-asset Fidessa ETP installation, trading futures, options, equities and CFDs since mid-2007, including client order flow from remote Fidessa screens and from Bloomberg EMSX, with around 40 FIX connections.• Supported and implemented middle/back office systems including Sungard GMI and ATEO Lisa.• Managed the integration of Monument Securities following their acquisition by ADMISI in 2014.

GNI was a multi-asset broker and pioneered the retail CFD market in the UK. Part of the Gerrard Group, which was acquired Old Mutual in 2000, GNI was sold to Man Financial in 2002 and was part of MFGlobal from 2007.• Programme Manager for GNI’s strategic Internet dealing platform (GNI Touch). This multi-phase project included the implementation of the Fidessa platform for equities trading and order management, the design and delivery of a ground-breaking real-time risk management system, the development of the Touch client trading software and APIs for direct client connectivity, and interfacing with back office settlement systems.• Led the transition to screen-based trading in futures and options. Implemented Internet-based trading, order book management and straight-through processing.• Initiated and delivered the development of Internet-based access to client accounts, which gave substantial cost savings through reduced distribution of physical paperwork and faxes.• Managed a complete redesign of the company’s voice and data network infrastructure.

CSFP was the specialist derivatives and risk management arm of the Credit Suisse group.• Evaluated systems to support the main OTC derivatives business, leading to a $10m project to implement the Summit system.• Managed workflow automation and document management projects for the OTC back office, as part of a wider programme to implement straight through processing systems.• Supervised a project to migrate exchange traded futures and options trades from the Devon derivatives system to the replacement Rolfe & Nolan system.• Involved in many other projects related to CSFP’s middle and back office systems, including Gloss, Rolfe & Nolan, Devon and various in-house corporate systems.
