Hi there! I'm Jon - aka SMooTH. Thanks for taking the time to read this! 🙂After working in the hospitality industry for about a decade as a people and business manager, my life took a turn (as I'm sure was the case for many) in 2020 because of COVID. During the pandemic, I discovered digital marketing, then web3 and NFTs, and quickly realized I had found what I’d unknowingly been searching for all my life. I was lucky to meet the right people through my VeeFriends networking efforts, and thanks to that, I managed to get a full-time job as the Head of Communications at Societhy. If web 3 is an environment where my skill sets, passions, and core values come together, then Societhy was its rendition.After two wonderful years with them, I've decided it's time for something new. I'm very passionate about people, human psychology, communication, & pop culture, and I'm using my varied skill set to forge my path in the web3 space.I write educational crypto content on Twitter/X, and tell stories of my web3 journey on my blog: Smooth Sailing.
