I work under the direction of a Union Steward and a Gang Boss to help setup equipment for venues. They can be as big as a rock and roll performance which requires over 100 people to setup everything to as small as 10 for a convention hall. I work directly with a team to help setup lighting, steel truss systems, audio gear and stages.

I am working as a subcontractor for the firm and lighting videos for a big insurance client.

I acted as the department head of the G&E department and the chief lighting designer for the feature film "Ruin Me". I worked directly with the films cinematographer to design the shows look and feel before production started. I hired my team and ordered an equipment package to give myself the proper tools. I was a Grip for the Dodge Viper SRT documentary "DNA of a Winner". I shot at the Dodge Viper Plant and several of the suppliers for the vehicle. My daily duties were to assist the Key Grip and Gaffer with all of the lighting and light control demands for the shoot.

I acted as the shows rigging gaffer and 2nd unit gaffer for the feature film "Pups United". I would assist the shows gaffer by acting as a consultant on stagecraft, design electrical distribution networks, run high voltage lines, set up lighting fixtures and run diagnostics to insure proper operation. As 2nd unit Gaffer I would work on setups as the shows.

I acted as the shows chief lighting technician (Gaffer) for the feature film "Urban Myths". I would assist the shows cinematographer by acting as a consultant on lighting, set up lighting fixtures and insure their proper operation.

I worked with the Transportation Coordinator and the Transportation Captain as their assistant for the five million dollar Sony feature film "The End of the Tour". My job was split between working out the logistical issues with the fleet and its drivers; and the maintenance of each truck and generator in the fleet.

Using proper safety procedures and industry standard tools I worked with high voltage lines and lights such as the 4,000 watt M-40 Arri fixture. I also acted as the shows Generator Operator for the shows two 6500 watt Honda Generators and the Litepower 500 amp tow plant. This required for me to run power distribution lines, properly ground them, weather.

I am working directly with the shows Cinematographer and its Gaffer to design and implement plans for lighting and camera support for the feature film "Saugatuck Cures".

I acted as the shows chief lighting technician (Gaffer) and as a camera assistant for the feature film "Horse Camp". I would assist the shows cinematographer by acting as a consultant on lighting, set up lighting fixtures and assist in the maintenance of the camera by doing such tasks as charging batteries.

My primary task was to design, establish and maintain a power distribution network for each location. I would use the shows 500,000 watt tow plant and send power via appropriate high voltage power distribution equipment. I would also use high voltage monitoring tools to insure that the appropriate amount of power is being sent to set.

I worked as a set electrician for the feature film "Happy Ending". My daily duties we to use proper safety procedures and industry standard tools to setup high voltage lines and operate lights up to 18,000 watts in intensity.

I operated a Sony PMW-350 for the nightly news broadcasts from their Grand Rapids Art Museum studio during the 2012 Art Prize..

I helped develop the visual concept for projects, execute a plan to shoot them and put together the project in editing.

I worked on the Lapeer episode of the TR3s reality wedding show “Quiero Mi Boda”. My duties were to maintain the camera and lighting gear for the 2nd unit production team of the show.

I was fortunate to be a part of the Indian action feature film "Vishwaroopam”. I worked with the shows Gaffer and Key Grip to execute the shows lighting plans as devised by the Director of Photography.

I worked to assist and tutor the staff and students of the Digital Video Production Program.

I was a Grip for the Ooey, Gooey, Chewy episode of Kid in a Candy Store. I picked up, helped design and setup the lights for the show. From lighting interviews on the factory floor to setting up a mini studio on location to shoot the Wowza Bar I learned a lot from this shoot.

I developed and shot the Oovoo web ad for GVSU. I worked directly with the Director to develop a visual concept and executed the plan when it came to shoot the ad.

I assisted the editorial department by cutting together automotive review videos and formatting them for the web.
