I managed the Sea Kayak and Recreational boat divisions of Perception Kayaks Research & Development Facility.The managerial components of my work included; overseeing a team of seven model makers, working with the advertising and sales divisions, and working with venders.The design work included; improving the quality of existing products as well as developing new boats and hardware. I developed four new boats; two sea kayaks and two recreational boats. Additional design work included a new seating system and new mounting recesses for their existing hardware.

At Bennett I worked with an excellent team designing and consulting on ships and offshore vessels.Utilizing finite element modeling I optimized the spud-can configuration of the MOD V ENSCO 101 jack-up oilrig, which has been approved by the American Bureau of Shipping.
