In 2013, along with a few friends, I founded Stretty News TV, essentially building a Manchester United Football Club YouTube channel from the ground up, lending my branding, online social networking and marketing expertise, as well as providing key video content. An authentic channel which offers an insight into the essence of the club, via interviews and live debates with renowned Reds and everyday fans alike.I've proactively carved out multiple opportunities, organising and filming dozens of interviews. I personally carry out every single stage of the interview process; contacting and organising interviewees, researching questions, filming, editing, and promoting (via multiple social media platforms.)Furthermore, I man social media accounts, seek commercial partners for the outlets, and incorporate various branding elements into the creative output. The below YouTube link showcases a selection of my work with ex- MUFC players; I've interviewed players from multiple generations including Lou Macari, Andy Ritchie, Gary Bailey, Arnold Mühren, Paul McGrath, Paul Scholes, Keith Gillespie, Raimond van der Gouw, Luke Chadwick, Danny Higginbotham, Ryan Shawcross, Andreas Pereira and more.Furthermore, I've interviewed famous Reds including renowned songsmith Pete Boyle, world title-challenging boxers Tyson Fury/Anthony Crolla, United's longtime stadium announcer Alan Keegan, Ronaldo biographer Guillem Balague, Cantona biographer Philippe Auclair, Tracey Neville (sister of Gary/Phil) plus prominent British journalists such as Henry Winter. My work has significantly contributed to the channel's burgeoning online presence, now boasting thousands of YouTube subscribers and a sizeable Twitter following of approximately 28,000. Furthermore I cultivated a relationship with Hotel Football (owned by prestigious Class of '92) whereby they let me film interviews in their suite with Old Trafford as the backdrop.
