Notable interviewees include Urijah Faber, Dan Hardy, Andrei Arlovski, Anthony Pettis, to name but a few.I personally carry out every single stage of the interview process; contacting and organising interviewees, researching questions, filming, editing, and promoting (via multiple social media platforms.)Furthermore, I man social media accounts, seek commercial partners for the outlets, and incorporate various branding elements into the creative output.mixedmartialarts.com (also known as The UG,) is the largest and most reputable online source of MMA news that boasts the most vibrant hive of activity pertaining to the MMA community. I approached its founders with the idea of establishing a YouTube channel extension of the brand. In less than 18 months old, I've singlehandedly created a fledgling YouTube platform that has already accrued in excess of 8,500 subscribers, north of 9 million views, and multiple thousands of likes/comments to highlight the levels of engagement. And all of this from being able to actually attend a mere handful of live events.Recent advertisement deals, proactively secured via my own endeavour, will now enable me to focus a greater portion of my time on building the channel in-between events, with more regular content including discussion shows, exclusive fighter journals, fight breakdowns, and much more.

Ogilvy FellowOgilvy & Mather Oct 2010 - Dec 2010Ultimately, following an application, interview, two-month Internship and Presentation delivered to key figures at Ogilvy, I was one of the very few people to receive an offer for their prestigious and highly sought-after Fellowship scheme (http://www.ogilvy.co.uk/fellows/) amongst the hundreds of budding marketers that originally applied. -
InternOgilvyone Sep 2010 - Oct 2010During my time at Ogilvy One, I worked on the below-the-line marketing campaigns of the UK’s biggest telecom provider, BT. I reformulated their homemovers’ advertising strategy and conducted a study on the copywriting of their promotional material which I subsequently presented to the heads of the BT account. InternColey Porter Bell Aug 2010 - Sep 2010I undertook a two-month Internship at Ogilvy (third largest marketing organisation globally), working at both Coley Porter Bell and Ogilvy One agencies respectively. During my time at Coley Porter Bell brand design agency, I profited from the opportunity of working on various established brands such as the distinguished Martell brandy (I devised a strategy that will be pitched to the cognac brand with a view to procuring the assignment of cultivating their brand image through redesign), the quintessentially British Beefeater Gin (I was heavily involved in the naming strategy that underpins one of its forthcoming product varieties) and the classic white chocolate Milky Bar (packaging content). I also collaborated with the head of the Planning department on his forthcoming lectures regarding Digital Media, and a presentation he gave to the board members of the Andersen Windows Corporation (the US’s largest window company). -
Head Of MarketingJe Spares Apr 2010 - Jul 2010Head of Marketing at JE Spares (http://www.jespares.com/) radio controlled models company (an online business based in Middleton). Thus far, I have completed the marketing audit and strategic planning stages and intend to implement my ideas forthwith in order to advance the company. This will involve a certain level of brand development (revamping the website and brand image via the creation of an erstwhile non-existent brand story), intensive online marketing (through social networks), cross-marketing (fostering relationships with other local radio controlled associations/organisations) and various other initiatives. A glance at the archives containing the old JE Spares websites (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.jespares.com) will underscore the dramatic evolution of the business, and its journey from small business to recognised brand name within RC (radio controlled) circles.

Brand Development ConsultantElmwood (Brand Design) Feb 2010 - Apr 2010I spent time shadowing Elmwood brand design consultancy’s (Top Ten UK company in its field) New Business Manager during a phase of transition for the company, which included working on various briefs that encompassed the areas of leisure, banking and social marketing initiatives. Additionally, I seconded the company’s brand developer for a project which oversaw the transition of a farming estate to a brand name. I assisted in the research and composition of the final presentation which outlined the execution of this transition and ultimately won Elmwood the brief. Finally, I devised a digital marketing strategy for a private venture of Elmwood’s London MD. During my time at Elmwood and Make Mine a Builders (Make Mine a Builders worked out of Elmwood’s London offices), I became au fait with designers through collaborating with them (on both the client and agency side) to ensure that ideas could materialise. -
