CurrentThe Port of Oakland is one of the top 10 container seaports in the US, with a cargo volume of 2.07 million TEUs in 2023. -Built a ten-year revenue budget for the $190 million seaport business unit using a financial analysis model in Excel and integrated operational data into the forecast. -Earned a reputation for speed and thoroughness in monthly/annual reviews of revenues and expenses; compared actual performance to budget by collaborating with FP&A and accounting teams. -Served as a project manager of a cross-functional working group to improve the billing process for repair projects performed on behalf of tenants, allowing the Port to recover over $250,000 in costs.-Rebuilt the financial models for estimating monthly revenues earned from the marine terminals to make them more accurate and less complex. -Managed the production of cargo statistics for the Seaport. Reviewed the work of other analysts and worked with industry partners to maintain the accuracy and speed of data analysis.
