My primary focus are the Nuclear and Aerospace sectors understanding how Lucideon can support the market through a combination of our 3 main business units: Research and Development, Consulting and Testing Services.

I worked within and led a small team in a newly refurbished Joules pub to ensure that customers were achieving a high quality of service during their visit. Often overseeing evening services with often 100+ covers over a three hour period, I was exposed to a high pressure and fast paced environment developing my skills to organise myself and the team to bring an enjoyable and efficient service to our customers.

I worked within the Trace Metals group at Reading Scientific Services Ltd, preparing and analysing a wide variety of samples using different techniques. When preparing samples for trace analysis, attention to detail was key as precision is paramount to determining accurate results. Techniques that I learnt and understood were AAS, ICP-MS and ICP-OES.

I had a part-time role within the Customer Service team at Waitrose alongside my A-level studies. I worked across a wide range of different areas within the store; ranging from the porter team to the service counters. Throughout my time at Waitrose I learnt how to work within a professional environment with an emphasis on quality and high level of service.
