Jonathan J. Sommer, B.A., M.A., LL.B., Q.Arb., is a lawyer and arbitrator with over two decades of experience as a litigator and business lawyer, with a focus on employment, defamation and art law. He has served as counsel to a wide range of small and large businesses involved in deal-making and in litigation, and to hundreds of employees and independent contractors in negotiating with employers. He has provided strategy and legal advice in some of the largest tax cases in Canadian history, and has worked extensively in the litigation of art fraud cases. Mr. Sommer has lectured in the university and art communities on copyright law, film production and finance, and art law.
