Two things get me excited in this life:* Being able to make a positive change in my community* Being able to lead, motivate and empower others to do the same in their community. Over the past 20 years, I've had the opportunity to build a career that has enabled me to fulfil these two motivators.  I've had the pleasure of managing two iconic Australian Foundations where I've had amazing opportunities to harness business resources for the betterment of our society.  In addition, I co-founded a social enterprise NFP that seeks to empower young people to be positive change agents in their communities, all the while gaining valuable 21 century work skills.  These have been some of the best years (and roles) of my career.
I was born in Sri Lanka, but New Zealand gave this young refugee a home, an upbringing and an identity that I’m forever grateful. Beautiful Australia helped me find my purpose and gave me a career that I absolutely cherish.  I'm blessed to have an amazing wife who has been the biggest champion of my career and two gorgeous daughters to whom I try (and often fail) to role model a genuine male and father figure.
