My job role involved managing the day to day running of an estate agency business, maximising income and profit from a range of products and services. I was responsible for increasing revenue and profitability through the achievement of business and personal targets. I worked in conjunction with the Managing Director in setting and reviewing office targets.I was regularly asked to rescue poorly performing branches, increasing their sales performance and motivating the staff to maximise profit and prevent branch closure.Daily tasks included:Motivated staff with incentives and rewards, holding one to one review meetings as well as daily morning meeting and weekly meetings, ensuring staff are trained to the highest level, identifying development needs, implementing agreed business plans, carrying out market appraisals, listing properties, running a busy lettings and property management department, ensuring business is compliant.
