Life-span Developmental Psychology Ph.D. programUnder the supervision of Julie Hicks Patrick Ph.D., I am learning more about how negative health behaviors affect healthy aging. We collaborated with WVU Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at Chestnut Ridge Clinic (Laura R. Lander, MSW) to propose a WVCTSI grant investigating sexual health behaviors during opioid maintenance treatment. We were awarded the grant in December 2016 and are finalizing data collection while preparing manuscripts.

Under the mentorship of Bryan Heckman Ph.D., I received focused training on behavior economic models of addiction and their application towards nicotine dependence. Additional training included mobile health (mHealth) development, mHealth marketplace characteristics, and treatment burden.

Finalized development of the Lichtenberg - Financial Decision Making Rating Scale (L-FDRS); L-FDRS-I (for informants); LFDSS (screening scale) all with an aim of detecting psychological vulnerability in geriatric populations. Currently working on reliability and a completed manuscript.

Establishing Lab Protocol, Maintaining IRB Compliance, Recruiting and Running Participants, Administering and Scoring Assessments, MATLAB Software Suite, DCM Analysis, ANALYZE Software SuiteAs a lab we work with a range of age groups (8-25) and a variety of assessments both inside and outside the fMRI with the goal of further researching memory development across the lifespan. Target areas include the Parahippocampal Place Area and Hippocampus.

As a student assistant helped facilitate and take part in interview selection process of over 600 applicants, responsible for creating assessments and collaborating data, executed and planned a number of gatherings between fellows and principle members of organizations

Responsibilities include player development, game planning, scouting, recruiting, travel planning, and liaison between players and Head Coach. Work under Head Coach Hector Marinaro and Associate Head Coach Dejan Mladenovic.

Created and implemented campus-based, grass roots marketing programs and product demonstrations for 6 Microsoft product releases. Concurrent releases required careful planning and effective time management. Participated in and helped lead "Office Live" meetings to collaborate on new campaigns with my peers on campuses across the country. Organized and implemented an on-campus fundraising event in support of University Hospital Rainbow Babies and Children Oncology (Cleveland). Used Twitter and Facebook to generate attendance of 100+ and to raise over $600. Purchased and delivered Christmas gifts to the children in the unit.
