SharpSpring became a leading player in the marketing automation sector, and I was instrumental in bringing the company to the NASDAQ, after being asked to turn around a predecessor firm, SMTP.During my tenure as CEO, the company was transformed from a niche player in email delivery to a global provider of marketing automation and other related technologies. During this period, we progressed to the NASDAQ, raised three rounds of capital and made two acquisitions. We more than doubled revenues and more than quintupled the rate we're adding new revenues.Our two successful acquisitions were SharpSpring and GraphicMail. SharpSpring is challenging industry leaders like Hubspot and Act-On with its easy-to-use marketing automation solutions. GraphicMail provides midrange email and mobile services and is providing a global channel for all of SMTP's products and services. Worked within firms owned by AIP to streamline manufacturing operations, improve financial controls, and generally deliver higher returns to AIP as majority shareholder.
