I completed a three year (intensive) training contract at KPMG within the Audit division, studying for the ACA Accountancy Qualification. I worked on a range of Financial Services clients, primarily banking, and achieved all first time passes.

Full time team member working behind the bar and serving food in a busy country pub environment, as part of a relatively small team (4-15).

My role with this company carries responsibility for a wide variety of tasks throughout the day and has provided me with valuable opportunities to develop my multitasking, teamwork and delegation skills. As treasurer of the University of Nottingham Snooker and Pool Club, I was responsible for managing all income and expenditure of the club. Following my successes within the University Pool calendar, I received an invitation to attend trials to play for the national students' 8-ball pool team. I was successful in the trials and went on to represent England in Dublin, Ireland in April 2014.Being a team member at university and national level over the past three years has helped me to work well under pressure and to perform to the best of my ability when it matters most.

Whilst I was studying for my A Levels, I tutored GCSE students from under-privileged backgrounds through a scheme which was run by my school. The challenge was to explain a variety of relatively complicated concepts and to use initiative to find effective teaching methods. My communication skills were greatly enhanced by this role, the goal being to encourage younger students to develop responsibility for their own academic progress through a weekly programme of monitoring and mentoring.

This work required me carry out a variety of tasks, to work as part of a team, communicate well and to be flexible in the roles undertaken on a day-to-day basis. The work included taking cash and card payments.
