►Managed the extension of the previously developed parallel channel electrophysiology platform into a fully autonomous system capable of robust operation for up to 18 hr even with individual channel failures. This project allowed Abbott to perform the world's first functional, ion channel, high throughput assay.►Co-developed Abbott R&D's first comprehensive bioassay Data Warehouse.►Proposed and led effort to automatically analyze gel images from the microARCS high throughput screening platform to reduce human error, increase efficiency, and identify hits missed with manual analysis.►Implemented a Single Sign-On and authorization framework based on JCIFS and Active Directory used internally on R&D systems.►Proposed and designed an extensible Web Service architecture for molecular calculators and information retrieval.►Created a set of tools for user defined data shaping for bioassay data analysis and visualization.

►Designed and developed a comprehensive data visualization and decision making system for a proprietary compound screening technology (Affinity Selection Mass Spectroscopy) allowing the spectra of hundreds of thousands of compounds to be viewed and hits (outliers) detected. Was an essential component in this process because of the magnitude of data.►Created a comprehensive pharmacokinetics data analysis package and reporting system.►Evangelized data visualization technology throughout R&D and successfully introduced Spotfire as a general purpose tool for Drug Discovery. Provided integrations to corporate data sources and algorithms critical to this success.
