​Jonathan M. A. Carter I, serves as the Volunteer Senior Pastor of Trinity Ministries of Chicago and is the Senior Officer of Trinity Association. Pastor “C” (as he is affectionately called) has lived and worked within the Austin community for over thirty-five years. ​Pastor “C” attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a graduate of the Academy of Health & Sciences in San Antonio Texas, Chicagoland Bible Institue & Seminar and the University of Alemeda. He holds a Bachelors Equivelent in Emergency Health & Science, a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Counseling and a Masters in Spiritual Counseling and a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling with a concentration in psychology. ​Pastor “C” has served as the Regional Director of the Wings of Hope Program for the North and Westside Chapter under the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and with the NAACP. He has served as the Director of Resource Development for Circle Urban Ministries, and served as Senior Regional Manager with the marketing arm of CitiGroup for approx. 12 years. He has served as an Advisory Board member of the Wise Guys Board for the Storehouse and World Vision Chicago Chapter and Tech-Missions based in Boston. ​As a former Eagle Scout, Pastor “C” continues to train and motivate others as a motivational national speaker, and as a key speaker holding seminars across the city and nation. He has proven to be a qualified leader throughout many areas of ministry and business. As a consultant he has held sessions consisting of Strategic Planning & Development to Professional Development and Conflict Resolution.​In his spare time, Pastor "C" enjoys jet skiing, scuba diving, camping, reading, teaching and exploring new opportunities and challenges. ​Pastor “C” is the husband to Melinda of nearly twenty five years, and father to their son Jonathan II, and their daughter Jon-tel. With their combined interest, talent and experience of nearly thirty-five years they are a powerful team.

My responsibilities consisted of but not limited to the following: - Public Relations - Grant Development - Volunteer coordination - Website Operation Development & Maintenance- Supervision of Organization’s Database (10,000 member donor database,) - Quarterly Mass Mailing Projects- Donation Receipting - General In-House Communications - Graphic Designing- Newsletter Design - Photography & Videography - Public Relations - Tours- Communications - Organization Presentations - Overseeing and Maintaining of Organizational Budget ($3.1 million budget) - Assist in the Creation & Seeking out Funding Sources Accomplishments: I improved communication of the organization’s staff, raised the level of morale through morale boosting events which increased production. I was also recognized for leading a department which experienced constant alterations within the organization while having to adjust to each modification positively.

My supervisory responsibilities and function were extensive spanning from public relations, marketing, broadcast and public announcements, website compliance, contract negotiations, designed & instructed weekly training. Accomplishments:- I met organizational goals of accomplishing a 75% attendance and 65% completion requirement during all training sessions by obtaining nearly 100% attendance and 95% completion rate for my region. -Created new training curriculum for regional offices that would ensured all national compliance regulations were met which raised office production by nearly 200%.- I met and passed compliance issues and raised our office’s Assets Under Management base to a total of $52 million. All other accounts averaged a total of $32 million. All approved debentures averaged $3 million a year within our region. Before the buyout of the company, our entire regional team had expanded to approximately 3200 representatives and managers.
