[Under Atrion/Atrion Networking Corporation]Over this timeframe I begin as an apprentice in the inaugural Apprentice Program under the leadership of Steven Malloy in which a large variety of technologies were consumed including route/switch, unified communications and Windows Server fundamentals. Following this I spent a brief period of time within the Support Center as an associate engineer troubleshooting various network and security incident through various ticketing systems and troubleshooting a wide breadth of technologies from Cisco Catalyst switches, ISR routers, Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco WLC and APs. A transition to Professional Services then ensued and I begin to quickly thrive in the deployment of new technologies into client environments. Alongside the aforementioned product lines there was an increased emphasis on discovery of the client's business needs and achieving those needs through the use of technology. Much emphasis was placed on detailed preparation work to ensure that all parties were aligned and any maintenance windows were completed with as minimal downtime as possible. It was during these projects that I developed a strong appreciation for documentation and improving, or creating, processes to achieve higher levels of success and efficiency within the Professional Services delivery model.
