I worked with the Architect of Record to create a custom design tailored to meet the needs of each individual church. We then collaborated with our consultants to develop the design into a complete set of drawings. This included leading coordination meetings to ensure all members of the design team had the information they needed to accomplish their tasks. I was also responsible for the management of the project's Revit model. This was in addition to my work to establish Revit standards and answer questions on what the best practices are for the office.

I had a number of different responsibilities while working at Jackson Main Architecture. I worked to prepare drawings and other required forms to submit for permits in Seattle and other jurisdictions. Then I wrote responses to any permit corrections. I was also given the responsibility to manage a few small projects. In addition, I was a member of the Revit team that worked to answer questions and set standards on the best way to model in the software. In addition, I reviewed the work on the detail library to ensure that any updates were drafted in such a way as to align with these standards.

My daily tasks consisted of creating construction documents and incorporating redline corrections to them. Then, when the project was ready to be submitted, I would fill out the required permit, energy, and lighting forms. I was also responsible for visiting the project sites and documenting the existing conditions by taking measurements and photographs. Since this was a small office, my responsibilities included other peripheral tasks, including answering phones, updating the website, addressing tech issues, and working on a set of office standards.

I ensured that people were satisfied with their paint shopping experience by assisting them in their color decisions, helping them find the right products, and teaching them to apply it in such a way that they were happy with the finished product. I also was entrusted to watch the quantity of products we had in stock and to order more when we were low to ensure we did not run out of anything.

This job involved taking the physical blueprints of a building on campus as well as onsite measurements and creating a digital version in AutoCAD, which I used to create a three-dimensional model in SketchUp.
