Current• I was responsible for pricing, estimating, and bidding jobs.• I was responsible for managing the job schedule. This required managing employees' availability and also working within the constraints of customers' availability schedules and "desired date of completion" deadlines.• I was responsible for marketing and advertising• I was tasked with managing inventory and supplies• I trained and managed a two-man crew • I set up and tore down all jobs. I was the first to arrive and the last to leave.• I used Freshbooks accounting software which also allowed me to send estimates and invoices.• I was responsible for collecting payment from customers. Sometimes, customers would attempt to withhold, delay, or refuse payment, so I needed to work with them diplomatically and strategically.• I managed an Angi Leads account• I was responsible for keeping detailed and organized records• I was responsible for managing not only the company's budget but also each job's budget.• I was responsible for guaranteeing industry-leading customer service. I set a good example for my team by living according to the philosophy of "the job isn't done until the customer is happy."I started this business to help my family financially survive the challenges and instability of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that it is largely behind us, I am looking to say goodbye to Precision Painting. I have learned a lot and I appreciate the experiences but I am excited to pursue another career that is more in line with my life goals.
