Assisted the Deputy Mayor for Operations with oversight for several of the City’s operating agencies and the lead City Hall representative on high-profile and complex technology projects. Examples of some of the work:- Saved the City millions of dollars by creating an innovative space management program that identified 400,000 sf of underutilized space, created a standard City-wide open office plan, and consolidated the Department of Health into a new building.- Coordinated process redesign efforts with the Department of Buildings to develop a safety strategy to dramatically reduce number of accidents and fatalities at construction sites.- Reimagined how the Mayor can respond to emergency situations by conceptualizing and leading the development of the Mayor’s Situation Room in City Hall and the developing new ways to connect to the public through multiple communication channels for emergency alerts.- Led the first large-scale renovation of City Hall in 60 years and the upgrade of the key technology systems throughout the building.
