I lead the Bloomberg Associates Cybersecurity and Technology team focused on helping cities with the urgent need for improved cybersecurity. Bloomberg Associates is an international consulting service founded by former New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg as a philanthropic venture. Bloomberg Associates provide pro-bono services to mayors to help city governments improve the quality of life of their citizens.

Assisted the Deputy Mayor for Operations with oversight for several of the City’s operating agencies and the lead City Hall representative on high-profile and complex technology projects. Examples of some of the work:- Saved the City millions of dollars by creating an innovative space management program that identified 400,000 sf of underutilized space, created a standard City-wide open office plan, and consolidated the Department of Health into a new building.- Coordinated process redesign efforts with the Department of Buildings to develop a safety strategy to dramatically reduce number of accidents and fatalities at construction sites.- Reimagined how the Mayor can respond to emergency situations by conceptualizing and leading the development of the Mayor’s Situation Room in City Hall and the developing new ways to connect to the public through multiple communication channels for emergency alerts.- Led the first large-scale renovation of City Hall in 60 years and the upgrade of the key technology systems throughout the building.

Spokesman for the Mayor and program manager for technology projects to improve the City’s ability to communicate to the media and general public. - Lead City Hall spokesman for the Mayor on all technology related media inquiries and responsible for responding to media inquiries related to several city agencies- Managed major NYC.gov redesign project and day-to-day responsibility for the editorial content on home page to highlight Mayoral initiatives- Designed and developed the City’s Emergency Alert System which enabled the Mayor to immediately communicate on TV and Radio from any location- Created the ability for City Hall, NYPD and OEM to immediately broadcast live video to any TV station- Relaunched the City’s TV and Radio stations to focus them on original content to increase viewership and modernize operations by combining operational efforts.

Designed and maintained campaign website that provided all campaign messaging online. Responsible for installation and management for all campaign technology infrastructure.

Curated content for Bloomberg.com and developed BloombergUniversity.com, a consumer financial education website.
