In my contract with the State of Connecticut DDS and DCF, I work with children, teens, and young adults with behavioral and developmental disabilities. Through teaching life skills such as coping, communication, socialization, I empower my clients to become productive members of their communities. I help them job hunt, arrange assisted living, shop for groceries, and develop skills that help them become more self-sufficient.

New Haven, Ct

I administered weekly state and organizationally mandated social and emotional learning curriculum for 60 children, in classrooms of 6-10 children at a time, ages 10-15 years old.

Hamden, Ct

I worked with 100 incarcerated children (ages 12-17, in groups of 8-16) to provideeducational, emotional, and social support until they received a disposition from municipalcourt.

Cheshire, Ct

I worked per diem with DCF and DDS to mentor children, teens, and young adults withbehavioral and developmental disabilities.

New Haven, Ct

I worked with groups of 6-10 teens aged 17-19 years old struggling with drug addiction,gang-related violence, and other offenses.

I assisted developmental learning center’s teaching staff to integrate job skills training andwork programs for special needs students (children and young adults).

I worked with both the childcare-focused (Safe Haven) and behavioral health (Kids Inn)programs to provide therapeutic support for up to 64 at-risk children.
