Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services activities at Centennial College. Grow and develop partnerships with industry and community organizations to support technical streams (aerospace, advanced manufacturing, energy, data analytics, medical tech) and social innovation streams of research. Implement broad entrepreneurship programming to empower students to become adept at 'for profit' and 'for change' entrepreneurship activity. Represent the College as the senior research representative to funding organizations, other post-secondary institutions and with industry associations and industry partners.

Provide strategic direction to the Board, act as President of the association. Initiate public advocacy on engineering related issues to government and private sector groups. Work with sector associations, companies and government to highlight engineering innovation, and highlight policy support initiatives required to ensure engineers succeed and grow in influence in Ontario.

Work with federal and provincial governments, sector associations and academia to expand innovation and identify sector development barriers for aerospace in Ontario. Manage Bombardier Aerospace's strategic engineering project portfolio (R&D) for Ontario, and provide support for other strategic research activities. Build, maintain and enable a corporate patent focal network & allign patent filing & intellectual property development activities with Bombardier's technology roadmap. Lead Bombardier R&D activities related to cabin interiors technology development.

Managed large operations engineering group & various labs and product development activities. Completed strategic technology validation on R&D initiatives, and new programs. Regulatory activity (governmental affairs) sign-off on all new programs. Supplier development from RFQ through production on new program initiatives. Managed ISO 9001 compliant test lab, and materials standards activity & lab groups.

Led a team of engineers to provide production & logistical support to various off-shore GM assembly sites where product was kitted in Canada, and shipped overseas for assembly and distribution in Venezuela, Colombia, South Africa, China and Indonesia. Provided strategic and operational leadership on Cadillac export initiative into China.
