As part of Glympse leadership team, completed further development of the Glympse liquid biopsy assay measuring protease activity directly from plasma samples, demonstrating robust and reproducible performance across multiple sample types.

Completed feasibility, development and validation of lung cancer diagnostics including Percepta Nasal Swab utilizing whole transcriptome RNA sequencing and small biopsy samples in collaboration with Lung Cancer Initiative at Johnson & Johnson

Working with companies such as Cytox Ltd (consultant) and Owlstone Medical (employed and consultant) to develop clinical diagnostic assays with a focus on overall strategy, project leadership and path to analytical and clinical validation.

Molecular technologies are evolving fast. I worked with partners to assess, develop and deliver molecular assays for high quality biomarker testing and patient selection. Key areas included ctDNA, next generation sequencing and future use of RNA expression markers

Successfully worked with companies, such as Cambridge Epigenetix and OncoCyte, in the Translational Research and Personalised Medicine area, supplying experience in Molecular Diagnostic development.

Investigated and developed molecular tests within lung disease area, including lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis utilizing utilizing molecular technologies including microarray, next generation sequencing and high throughput PCR. - Managed the planning, generation, analysis, and communication of high quality microarray data to support compound progression, toxicology studies and biomarker identification for neurology, gastrointestinal, pain, and psychiatry pre-clinical and clinical therapeutic programs.

- Set up and utilized chemical and protein based affinity methods for drug discovery across respiratory, inflammatory, oncology, neuroscience and metabolic disease areas, working closely with R&D matrix, particularly mass spectrometry and bioinformatics groups.
