Spray drying preformed materials for use in prototype catalytic converters being developed at the research facility in Royston. This changed to overseeing the entire preformed material manufacturing process, generating batch records for all products manufactured to trace quality of every product batch as well as standardisation of the entire production process along with writing manufacturing documentation for every new product (preformed material).I schedule the production of these preformed materials on 2 spray drying rigs with a collective agreement from my colleagues in product development teams, providing a quick turnaround between spray drying batches and flexibility in case customers need to press ahead with a more urgent order. Samples are taken from every product, sending off for testing by QC group as well as taking my own measurements (particle size, solid content, viscosity, pH and conductivity) throughout the process. I am in charge of all major chemical stocks for the entire the research and development facility as well as management of the precious metal waste streams.

Involved in an extensive environmental risk assessment of waste land near Dartford. Carried out a geotechnical investigation to assess the feasibility of extending a supermarket in Brighton. Monitored ground and surface water quality from selected boreholes, streams and natural ponds surrounding a chemical works site in Norfolk.Worked on a laboratory project involving description of soil horizons to the World Reference Base from cores sent from various locations around Europe, as part of a wider investigation into agricultural soils from an external company.
