The Net Center Chief Engineer provides the leadership and technical ability to ensure smooth operation of OPB's radio and television broadcast operations at the Network Operations Center in Portland as well as at 17 remote sites in the Northwest region of OPB's coverage area. The Net Center Chief leads a cohesive, productive team of diverse technical staff dedicated to the achievement of the Technology Department’s goals.

Designed, installed, and maintained critical broadcast infrastructure at the OPB Net Center. Re-architected OPB's Engineering IP infrastructure, and integrated it with the larger network. Configured and stood up a statewide WAN-based signal distribution system. Identified outmoded content-creation workflows and designed file-based solutions to address them; created easy-to-understand documentation around these changes for efficient communication.

Supported OPB's Maintenance Engineers with installation and maintenance of broadcast infrastructure. Documented existing systems and worked to simplify signal paths.
