We also advocate for Earthpreneurship and the growing green economy.Through partnerships with schools, community-based organizations and our series of courses, workshops and seminars we teach youth and the community about Hawaiian values of sustainability and entrepreneurship. Through our work we recreate in Hawai'i the Modern Day Ahupuaa, a model to world for 21st century sustainability and economic growth through green industry and entrepreneurship.As a cross-platform news source we also provide opportunities for journalists to write and broadcast about sustainability topics through our blog, radio show and podcast and YouTube channel.

A spin-off of The Pono Way, LLC, this is a non-profit start-up currently on hiatus. It is envisioned as a cross-platform multimedia company dedicated to showcasing the arts and culture of Honolulu and the people who make it happen. It is currently in process of acquiring our 501(c)(3) status.As a cross-platform multimedia company the non-profit will serve as a training ground for prospective journalists and content producers running a blog, radio show / podcast and YouTube channel that features all topics related to the arts and culture of Honolulu in visual, performing, literary and cultural arts.

A part-time volunteer position, as Director of Education and Development I develop and package courses and training programs offered by the Center for face-to-face, web-based or hybrid formats. Our courses include the following: Hawaiian Ho'opono, Hawaiian Spirituality, Indigenous Peacemaking, Personal Peace, Youth Leadership for Pacific Island Nation Youth, Hospitality Training, Cultural Rehabilitation for the Incarcerated, and Martial Arts for Youth.As Director of Development I also seek funding opportunities and run campaigns to raise funds for the Center's programs.

My position was two-fold:I worked with incoming and at-risk Freshmen students to help them develop the student success skills they need to persist through college on through graduation working with colleagues to lower success barriers. I develop and conduct in person workshops as well as deliver student success materials through web-based and mobile-based delivery systems and work to make technology and student success resources more accessible to students.I also serve as the advisor for the Honors Program and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society where I work with students to better understand the research process and to develop as leaders as they develop and complete their Honors research projects and plan Honor Society service, leadership and scholarship activities.

As Technology Coordinator I was responsible for the investigation and implementation of new learning technologies and back office technologies to improve student learning and enterprise operations. Part of the scope of duties included training of faculty and staff through professional development workshops. In my role as Technology Coordinator I successfully wrote for, was awarded and implemented two Federal grants totalling $380K. I oversaw a staff of 8 including 3 professional staff and 5 student workers to implement grant activities.Scope of services also included the development of student success workshops centered around usage of learning and productivity technologies.

I oversaw the daily operations of computer lab facilities as well as provided on-site computer servicing and repair to include recruitment, training and hiring of lab monitors and service technicians. Part of the scope of services of the lab which I provided was also computer and technology training for students

I provided acculturation, English language development and visa compliance and processing services for International students who were in Hawai'i short-term for contract training purposes.When appropriate I would also conduct training courses within my areas of expertise as part of the customized training curriculum.

I oversaw operations of our math tutoring lab including recruiting, training and supervising a staff of student tutors as well as providing and overseeing small group and individualized math instruction.
