I am currently a senior at Florida State University in the Risk Management/Insurance program in the College of Business. For 5 years I worked in the food industry at Wendy's and Fresh Market. In these places, I was helping serve our valued customers the food they desired most. Through this, I was able to learn many good customer service skills that have helped me n my current job.Currently, I am serving as a Financial Analyst Intern at the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. Here, I am responsibe for making sure that an insurance company's financials are in compliance with Florida law. This is to ensure that the policyholder is safe.As a Financial Analyst, I see it as my duty to make sure that our policyholders are protected from insurance companies that are either insolvent or breaking the law. We can all agree that insurance is a must. That being said, we would not want our insurer to be unable to pay our claims As it is always said, put the customer first. And this I intend to do when overseeing my assigned companies. I make it my goal to make sure the policyholder is safe and that they will not be left without their claim being dealt with.
